Review the quarter's priorities and drop off-track ones to Issues.
Priorities are what the team commits to finish this quarter. The step shows the current quarter, its dates and the days left.
What you can do
Edit quarter changes the quarter label and dates.
+ Add priority creates a new one. Give it a clear outcome and an owner.
Show archived reveals priorities from earlier work.
Use the ⚑ button (Drop to Issues) on a priority that is off track.
Planning Board
The Planning Board tab (next to Priorities) is a board of columns: Current, Next, Later, Future and Long-Term Issues.
Only Current items appear on the Priorities tab and count toward the quarter. Next, Later and Future are a parking place for work you are planning ahead.
Drag a card by its ⠿ handle to another column. It works with a mouse or a finger.
Priorities normally stay in Current for the whole quarter. If you drag one out, you are asked first and can choose Mark as Delayed instead, which keeps it in Current.
Cards in Next, Later and Future do not show a status, because they have not started.
⋯ on a card opens its details: status (such as On-track, Off-track, Delayed or Done), owner, due date and progress, plus Archive and Delete. You can also click the owner's picture to change the owner.
+ adds a card to a column and the ⇅ button sorts a column. The Owner and Status filters narrow the board.
Long-Term Issues holds issues you want to keep but not discuss every week. Use Long-term on an issue to park it here and Move to Issues to bring it back.
Facilitating it
Ask only: on track or off track? If it is off track, drop it to Issues and keep going.
Tip: keep the list short. Three to seven priorities per team is easier to review in five minutes.
