Enginely Stage

Enginely Stage is the mind map for meetings over Zoom and Teams. Press P for a 1280 by 720 presenter stage that stays readable on a screen share. Press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+C for a follow link and six-character code that up to 3 people open on their phones, with no account.

Enginely Stage in presenter mode: the Decisions branch of a Q4 customer churn map fills the 1280 by 720 stage, everything else is dimmed, with the timer and parking lot at the right.

Presenter mode: one branch focused, the rest dimmed.

Frequently asked questions

Is Enginely Stage free?

Yes, it is free during early access, with no account. No import or export format is paywalled.

Do I need an account?

No. Neither the presenter nor the followers need one, and maps are saved in your browser.

How many people can follow my map?

Up to 3 per session during early access; everyone else on the call still sees your shared screen. Sessions end 12 hours after your last message.

Does it work with Zoom and Teams?

Yes. You share the browser window or tab as usual, with no plugin, and presenter mode's 1280 by 720 stage keeps the share readable.

Can I open my XMind files?

Yes. Drag an .xmind file (2020 and later format) onto the editor; it is read in your browser, and structure, notes, labels and common markers are kept.

Where are my maps stored?

In your browser, on the device you used. There is no cloud sync yet, so export to Markdown, OPML or JSON to keep a copy or move devices.

Can I use it offline?

Yes for editing and presenting; the app installs as a PWA. The follow link needs a connection.

How is it related to Enginely?

Enginely is a weekly meeting app with a Scorecard, Priorities, To-Dos and an Issues block. Stage is the free mind map for when an issue needs a whiteboard and works without an Enginely workspace (how issue solving works).
