Keep a workstream's meetings, board and history private to the people who belong to it.
Each workstream (team) can be private. A private workstream keeps its meetings, board, scorecard and history to the people who belong to it, so being in the workspace does not mean you can open every workstream.
New workstreams are private by default. Workstreams that existed before this was available stay open to everyone in the workspace until an owner or admin makes them private.
You can also do this from the workstream itself: open it and use Who can open this workstream, which shows its leads and lets you add or remove them. A workstream can have more than one lead.
Until you have set your workstreams up, owners and admins see a note at the top of the workstream page with a Set up workstreams button that takes you to the Teams tab. Select Dismiss to hide it. It also goes away on its own once every workstream is private and has a lead. After you add a workstream without choosing a lead, Enginely reminds you to add one.
Only an owner or admin can assign or change leads. A new lead may also get an email letting them know.
Open the workstream. The Members card lists the people who belong to it. Choose someone from your workspace in the list, or type a name and press Enter, and select the ✕ on a name to remove them. Each change saves right away. There is no separate save step.
You can only add people who are already in your workspace. To bring in someone new, an owner or admin invites them first. See Members and roles.
If you are not a lead, you can see who the members are. You can still add a name to a meeting for that session. Enginely tells you it applies to this meeting only, and the workstream lead can make the change for good.
Private workstreams you have not been added to still appear in your list, greyed out with a lock, so you know they exist. Selecting one tells you who to ask. If you see "You haven't been added to this workstream yet", ask its lead or a workspace admin to add you. Making a workstream private never deletes anything. Opening it again restores access for everyone in the workspace.
Removing a person from the workspace also removes them from every private workstream, so they do not come back with old access if they rejoin later.
